In response to a possible bomb alert, India dispatched Su-30s to intercept an Iranian aircraft.

Following information about a potential bomb on an Iranian aircraft flying over the nation, the Indian Air Force (IAF) today scrambled its Russian-made Sukhoi 30 fighter jets. According to reports, Mahan Air aircraft W581 had its origin in Tehran and was en route to Guangzhou in China. Su-30MKI fighter jets from the Indian Air Force were sent to intercept the plane and take the appropriate action.

After receiving instructions from Iran's agencies to disregard the bomb alarm, the airplane continued its flight toward its target. The IAF, in collaboration with the Ministry of Civil Aviation and the Bureau of Civil Aviation Security, carried out all actions in accordance with the established protocol. The Air Force kept a tight eye on the aircraft using radar across Indian airspace, according to a statement from the IAF.
